Sifron

Terms of Use

Effective date: July 7, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to our interactive reading apps for children, available on Google Play and the App Store under the developer Shwartz, including (among others) "Sifron", "Interactive Books for Kids" and "My Stories" (together, the “Service”), operated by Shwartz (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Installing or using the Service means you accept these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not install the Service, or remove it from your device.

1. Who may use the Service

The Service is intended for children aged 3–8 under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for downloading the Service, for any purchase made through their app store account, and for supervising its use. The Service has no sign-up with a name, email address, or other identifying details — access uses an automatically generated anonymous identifier, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. License

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for private, non-commercial purposes only, on devices you own or control. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where the law expressly allows it.

3. Content and subscriptions

Some books, narration, and coloring activities are available free of charge; the rest is unlocked with a premium subscription billed through Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit, depending on the platform where the Service was installed. The subscription price, billing period, and auto-renewal terms are shown at the time of purchase in the app store. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the renewal date; subscriptions are managed and canceled only through the app store where they were purchased — not by contacting us. There are no refunds for a subscription period that has already started, except as required by law or by the relevant store’s policy.

4. AI-generated content

Illustrations and narration in some books are created with the help of artificial intelligence tools, under the supervision and direction of our editorial team. We make reasonable efforts to ensure the content is suitable for children and consistent, but we do not guarantee that every visual or audio detail is free of mistakes. Please report any content that seems inappropriate to you, and we will review it and remove it if needed.

5. Intellectual property

All rights in the Service — including text, illustrations, voice recordings, design, code, and logo — belong to Shwartz or our licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. Coloring pages a child creates in the Service remain for their personal use; we claim no ownership of the colored artwork itself, but the colorable outlines remain the property of the Service.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use the Service to:

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that it will be continuously available, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the extent local law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under local consumer law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing it from your device and canceling your subscription in the app store. We may suspend or end access to the Service if we detect use that violates these terms, giving reasonable notice where possible.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. A material change will be reflected in the “effective date” at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
