Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 6, 2026
We want every parent and child, including people with disabilities, to be able to use the sifron.app website comfortably and independently. We have worked to make the Website accessible in line with Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773–2013, and Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with ordered headings, and declared language and text direction.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Every looping video has a pause/play button, and the videos play without sound.
- On story pages, the full text is shown on screen alongside the audio narration.
- Responsive layout for phones, tablets and desktops, with support for browser text zoom.
The Website was checked with automated testing tools (Google Lighthouse) in Chrome.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible, for example third-party content such as the app-store download badges. This statement covers the Website only; the apps are made accessible separately and are still being improved. If you run into a problem, please let us know and we will fix it.
